    Exact same problem here it gets to 99% and then says "installation stopped" this has been happening for the past few days and I've tried everything.

    You could possibly try deleting the game from your memory by going to system settings and going to memory and deleting minecraft, once you delete it go to game marketplace and find minecraft and download it again if that doesnt work there is possibly something
    wrong with your console

    Thank you for your answer, I deleted the vpn software and minecraft as well. Then I downloaded minecraft again and added the files I safed before to keep my progress.

    Hi, you just have to delete the .minecraft in your Roaming folder (C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft)



    And download it again (The launcher)



    Then it should work for you
