What specific brands and types of external drives does Microsoft recommend for the XBOX One? I am constantly removing digital games that I have paid for because my small 500GB hard drive is always full. Please advise as soon as possible. Thank you...

Can I save my Xbox 360 games to my Xbox one storage?

It says I only have 2 gb of cloud storage left. On the case it runs out can I save to xbox one internal storage?

Question about storage space

I have 9 games downloaded and I have 93.4% of my storage space used

once I run out of space will I have to uninstall old games to make room for new ones?

Microsoft doesn't recommend any particular brand of external hard drive, with so many different companies making them it would be difficult to do so. It does specify that the drive itself needs to be USB 3.0 and a minimum of
256GB. Personally, I would recommend the following brands as they are the current industry leaders:

Western Digital

Seagate

Samsung

Toshiba

Sony

As well as tradition external hard drives, the Xbox One will also accept external solid state hard drives and hybrids. However, these tend to be rather expensive and the speed difference isn't all that noticeable on game consoles. Xbox One works with external
hard discs that require no external power supply - you just plug them into the rear USB port and the console will detect it and ask if you wish to format it. Once it's done, you can use it straight away. You can use the larger powered external hard drives,
but these will require them to be connected to mains as well as the console.

I'm currently using a Toshiba Stor.E Basics 1TB.

Just make sure it's USB 3.0 and you'll be fine.

I'm currently using a My Passport Ultra 1TB external hard drive. Got it for $70 at Walmart, have over 850 gigs left and I have 12 downloaded full games.

Well, i figured out hoe to fix the issue. I simply did a powercycle after the game refused to uninstall, when i did this and loaded back up I uninstalled the game and reinstalled. When i loaded it back up the issue had seemed to fix itself. Only problem
is is that I do not know if it will come back. Thanks for the help though

Sorry to hear it. First, please try a powercycle on the console by holding the power button it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. If you still have the same problem then it may be a local save file issue. Please follow the steps posted by XBF Diego

Like i said in my post, I have around 100gb free space. Along with this i have only 3 worlds I play on. But i have resolved the issue, if this does ever happen to you then just uninstall the game and reinstall
