I have cities skylines on my xbox and im signed into my account but i cant get it for free

But it is NOT available with Play Anywhere support so you would need to purchase it on each platform, but if you did buy both, you could carry your cities over.

Hello chasz2015, The xbox version will link with the microsoft store version, you need to contact microsoft for this support. As for the steam version you will need to purchase it since the games have different features.

Cities: Skylines is a Play Anywhere title so it should be available. Make sure you're signed into the store with the Microsoft Account that owns the title, and not just the Xbox App. Then if you open the Windows 10 store, and click on the three dots
in the top right and click "My Library". From there, you can click filters such as "Games" and then sort by recent or name. It should be listed in there, and have the option right on that page for you to "Install" the title or chose other options. You might
also want to select "Ready to Install" instead of "All Owned" if you own a lot of digital titles for Windows 10 and Xbox One. That'll make it much easier to sort through the list for what you're looking for.

Strike ALL that. Looks like Cities: Skylines is NOT a Play Anywhere title so you would have to purchase the game again on Windows 10 to play it there.

And can you clarify if you're trying to install it on Xbox One or Windows 10? Also, I'm not sure about what you're referencing about getting it for free. Are you subscribed to game pass? It would show an option to install it, but not to "Get" it.
