I have bought an used xbox 360 S from japan. It's power supply input is required 100 v-127 v

I have bought an used xbox 360 S from japan. It's power supply input is required 100 v-127 v and 50/60 Hz. But in my country 220 V 50 Hz. Then I bought step down transformer 220 v 50 Hz to 100 V, 20 W . Now, when I have connected my x box power supply
unit with this step down transformer 220 v 50 Hz to 100 V, 20 W, x box power supply orange lights (stand by) glows. When I push power of x box, it turns to green ( good power) lights and x box system switched on. But within 3 sec, x box console shuts down
and power supply box turn to red light. I don't understand why my xbox console is not operating with this converted power supply.

American 360S in another country

I have an American XBox 360, and now I'm moving to China, which has 240 V power plugs rather than 110 V. The power supply will only work with 110, so I was wondering if there's a cable for 240 that will work with the XBox 360. Also, the European XBox 360s
have a different input power (not sure if that would be the correct term) from the American ones, right? I've got the newest 360, for clarification.

My current power supply is:

Input AC: 100-127V - 3.29A, 47-63 Hz

Output DC: 120 W 12V 9.6 A, 5Vsb 1A

 

PSU power supply

Recently upgraded to XBOX One, and was planning to give the XBOX 360 to my nephew in India. While checking the PSU unit CPA09-010A the label reads Input 100 to 127 V, while the plug says ~250. Can someone let me know that the there is a single PSU with XBOX
360 and can I use it in India on 240 V

The Xbox One S internal power supply should be multi voltage and you should not require a transformer.

The converter is rated at 20 Watts. The Xbox 360 console (depending on the model) however draws up to 180Watts.

You need to get a stepdown converter that is able to sustain 200 Watts, and then the console will work. Your current 20 Watt converter is "too weak" to power the Xbox 360.

 

As stated in the manual,you should never use any type of step down/power converter with your xbox.

You need an official power brick for the country you are using the console in.
