I have been paying subscription charges for an xbox since 2013 and we have not had an xbox ...

My son was given an Xbox in 2013 as a Christmas present he exchanged the Xbox for a Playstation in 2014 yet subscriptions have continued to come out of my savings account since 2014. After speaking to Xbox customer services i was informed i should contact
my bank for any refunds. The fraud team at the bank following an investigation refunded me 13 months of the subscriptions and advised me to claim back the remainder of the subscriptions from Xbox/Microsoft. Despite numerous telephone conversations and a lot
of mixed messages i have been told that i am only entitled to the final month subscription of £5.99 as they do not have any way of knowing if what i am telling them is factual so i am led to believe that the Microsoft fraud team would not be able to find out
if this so called account has been active since 2014 UNBELIEVABLE. And we put men on the moon 50 years ago? Please can somebody tell me where i can take my complaint to as i am being continually fobbed off by it seems people reading from a script.

Xbox Live Cancelled my account

This may be long and confusing so hang in there. I have had my Xbox Live account for about 8+ years and been with Xbox Live since it first came out. Recently though Xbox Live has failed me in too ways and it is depressing really. The main problem I have
now is a confusing one as well. I have a Gold Membership and was sent to renew in September 2013. It was charged twice and charged my account twice as well. Instead of having to pay again in 2014, it would have me pay in 2015. Which, didn't bother me too much,
but I'd still rather not pay twice now. So I asked for a refund on the double charges. I wanted them to refund me one year. They have refunded me one year and have cancelled my account. I called support twice and they said that I was only charged once and
that I cancelled the Xbox Gold. I told them that I could provide the bank statement if I had too. They told me it may take a day or two to contact me about my Gold Status. It's been 3 days and I had to call them back. I'm not looking for much, just that they
reestablish my Gold Status; I paid for two and they refunded 1, so there should still be 1 Gold Subscription. I am tired of jumping through the xbox live support staff, they just send me in circles and only two seem to actually how to work an Xbox themselves.
I don't want to leave Xbox Live, but goodness they have been disappointing me left and right lately.

 

Cancelled Subscription in 2013 - Got charged this week!!

I cancelled my Xbox Live 360 subscription in October of 2013. I was charged $73.49 this week for a full year subscription! How do I get my money refunded... and check to see that this didn't happen throughout 2014-2016? When I look at my payment history,
it shows nothing regarding Xbox payments.

Unfortunately, if you subscribe to a service it's your responsibility to make sure to cancel it. This would be the case for Xbox Live, Netflix, Spotify, or hundreds of other services. Most services will only refund a specific amount of time (something like
the current billing cycle, up to 90 days, etc.) Your only option would be to contact support to see if they are able to do anything, but the fact you already received 13 months back, I would suspect that would be the extent of the refund.
