    I have been having crashes for months while playing


    Previously I had a gtx 960 with a ryzen 5 2600, I changed to a rtx 2060 and for months in many games I am having constant crashes, in some games happens after a while played and in others it is practically instantaneous, I have tried everything, I have cleaned the pc, I have reinstalled windows, I have tried custom versions of windows and nothing works, the only thing that I have of reference is an error that appears in the event viewer that says "Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation", I have tried the solutions associated with this error and nothing. I suspect it must be some incompatibility in my hardware but right now I can't upgrade the components. If someone could help me I would appreciate it very much. I have windows 10 Pro 22h2

    Thanks for the additional information.

    Your set up should be able to run games however, if this is fall short on the required specifications of the games, the demanding games crash issue is a norm. To overload the PC/laptop with more processing may require upgraded specs for your PC. Before you do an upgrade, you should first consult the device manufacturer or someone that is expert in the field.

    Hello, thank you for answering me, in relation to the things you told me, I have the latest driver for the rtx 2060, some time ago I also did a complete uninstall of the drivers with the DDU tool, I have tried memory diagnostic, but it did not solve the problem. I don't have any antivirus, except windows defender or any strange firewall settings. About the overheating problem, a lot more time ago I noticed that my pc was overheating, so I changed the thermal paste of the processor and as soon as I bought the rtx 2060, I also changed the thermal paste because it was second hand, a trusted friend sold it to me and it did not give him any problem. I have also tried to update the bios to the latest version.

    It is true that the crashes usually happen to me in more demanding games, for example in resident evil 2 remake happens to me constantly, in resident evil 7 it happened to me every few hours, in lies of p it was rare. In games like blasphemous 2 and league of legends, valorant, etc. it never crashes, but for example in cyberpunk 2077 it happened very very little considering the 50 hours I played.

    I have been testing a lower resolution on a game that crashes constantly (Ghost Reacon Wildlands), the temperatures seem normal, I have tried several resolutions and various settings and the cpu moves at 60 Cº and the gpu between 80-90.
