Does anyone at Microsoft know about the known issue with the firmware update on the Technicolor TC8305C gateways? Does anyone even know when they'll release a new firmware update that will actually resolve this issue.

I have everything from clearing cache, resetting router, and even port forwarding and enabling UPnP and DMZ host to my Xbox.

I'm still wondering if Comcast even knows about this issue, I haven't been able to play anything Multiplayer related without disconnecting after 5 minutes. There's a whole lot of other people encountering this as well, and I'm sure they're not happy about
it either. What's the point of paying for something that doesn't even work?

Disconnecting from xbox live

so I've had the original xbox one the very first one that came out and have had no problems at all when I'm playing. So then I go out and buy the xbox one S and I've been having problems with disconnecting from xbox live while playing games. So after I got
tired of it and switched back to my original xbox and I was thinking maybe it was just the xbox one S that disconnects me from xbox live. So like 2 months later i go out and purchase a brand new xbox one X, the newest system out. And after just one day I've
been having problems with disconnecting from xbox live. So can someone help? Why does the very first original xbox not have a problem with disconnecting from xbox live?

XBOX LIVE DISCONNECTING

Hello everyone,

I Have been having problems from the past month my XBOX keeps

disconnecting from XBOX LIVE and it's really annoying me..

when ever i play a game it just disconnects and my XBOX

party is always lagging and i can hardly play games on XBOX

without being disconnecting ... could someone give me

some help on how to fix this problem.

Lurid - I'm very sorry to see about the disconnect issues! If you could, I'm looking to find out which type of Xbox 360 you've got. You should have either the original 360, the 360 S, or the 360 E. If you aren't sure which one you have, you can determine this
by the kind of power button you have:

Xbox 360 Original: White or Black power button (depending on which color console you have).

Xbox 360 S: Silver/chrome power button that is touch sensitive, larger circle.

Xbox 360 E: Silver/chrome power button that needs to be pushed in like the Original console, smaller circle.

This will help us out a lot if you could provide this!

In the meantime, please check out our known issues thread on this device you have. You can set your firewall to low or disable it to help alleviate
this issue. I've also seen some users set their gateway in "bridge" mode and add a router of their own to relieve these issues. If that doesn't work, please reach out to Comcast for further troubleshooting.

I need help every time I start black ops 2 and play multiplayer it says that I have been disconnected from Xbox live

yes! and its annoying especially when you dc before the round ends and dont get credit. I've had this for about a month or so and it seems to be getting worse. The past 2 days, I just get dropped from xbox live parties with no warning rather than the "connecting"
message I used to have while it reconnected me.

There definitely seems to be a disconnect between me being connected to the internet and xbox live/ multiplayer recognizing it. I'm a Preview member if that is helpful.

I've been playing every day for the last few months with getting disconnected here and there from xbox live while playing mw3 but for the last two days I cant even join a match. As soon as I start mw3 I am instantly kicked from live. This is crazy and a
waste of money!
