I have been banned from Xbox live for a friend reporting me for a joke

My friend jokingly reported me for swearing now I’m banned for 24 hours. I don’t get many chances to play my Xbox and this one is being wasted.

Suspended from communication for no reason

ive been suspended from communication yet again for absolutely no reason. I sent no messages with any bad language nor did I curse anyone out over the mic, and my friend even admitted to reporting me as a joke. I want to be unbanned, you guys gotta stop
doing this to me or at least give me a reason as to why im banned because I know I don't deserve it.

 

Reputation

My friends have been annoying lately as I think they have got me banned for a day (I think) and made my reputation need work by reporting me as a joke. Is there any way getting Microsoft to ask the people who reported me if they meant to do it not as a
joke. I would create a new account but I don't want to buy get some games back as soon I will soon game share with my brother and have 18010 gamer score. Please help

 

It doesn't matter if your friend reported you as a joke. Profanity is a violation of the code of conduct so you were suspended for it.

 

This rule is stupid. The person is clearly ok with swearing if they use the language when talking to me so the report should be ignored and my account left alone.

 

It doesn't matter if the other person is okay with it. Per the code of conduct you agreed to when you signed up, profanity is not allowed on Live no matter what.
