    I have att uverse and My xbox one will not change channels with voice commands


    I was able to update my xbox one and it was working fine with no issue couple days after the update I had to cancel my internet service for the mean time and now my voice commands to change the channel is not working again I have tryed everything I can think
    of I have checked all my Preferences and they are all checks I have an motorola box from uverse and I had ran the tv setup which had sent the correct command to turn off the cable box I just dont know why I am not able to change the
    channel voice command can someone help me???

    I am from Russia. I recently bought a Xbox One. It works fine and understands my voice commands in English.

    In Xbox One (OneGuide) no support for Russian cable television providers. And no voice commands to change channels.

    I'd like to have voice commands: NEXT CHANNEL, PREVIOUS CHANNEL and CHANNEL [NUMBER CHANNEL].

    changing channels

    With the Xbox one I have a few issues 1. I can't change the channel by the number which sucks because I don't know the station names and I have a numeric memory. 2. When the channels do change they automatically go to the HD channels. Is there anyway I could
    resolve any of these issues. My provider is att uverse

    Just to add my two cents, I just set up my Xbox One with my Xfinity X1 box last night. When setting up the device, it tried to do channel up and asked if it worked. I had to say no all three times. However, then it said it was finished, and the voice commands
    worked to change the channel. Remember, I believe you also have to go to a channel at least once before in order for the voice commands to work changing to that channel.

    Same situation here dish vip722 is is detected by xb1 and so is my tv but no voice commands to change channel's. .. my ir remote code is set to 1 it was on 27 before I followed steps to correct that but still no luck in voice commands changing channels thru

    Any solutions for using Xbox only to escape the uverse screensaver?

    my Xbox turns on my box, tv, and receiver just fine, but if I turn on, then play games / watch Netflix for six hours, the uverse box automatically goes into standby. This cannot be changed on the uverse box.

    we need a voice command to power on/off individual components, or at least some way to send the "ok" command to the cable box.

    I keep my cable box in a cabinet to hide it, so when this occurs, I have to find the remote AND open the cabinet to fix..

    Also having similar issue. All SD channels (DVR or live) do the same for me. Using Motorola VIP1225 for ATT Uverse. I want to keep the TV pass through and continue to use the xbox but if I am unable to use SD channels this is worthless to me. Not all channels
    have HD channels yet. May be some day.
