    I have an Xbox One X. It’s an amazing console still works as perfect as day one. But there are a few games I’ve been looking to download but can not. Why? Also can I buy series x games hard copies and play that way? I don’t wish to buy a new console that mine still runs as great as day one. This Gamer woman loves her Xbox.

    At this point the One is old technology so companies are started to stop developing for that so they can focus on newer technology. That's how console gaming works. Even buying a physical disc, there's no way to make a One play a Series X game.

    The Xbox One consoles are now last gen, so apart from a few new games, most of them are now only for the Xbox Series consoles. If you want to play those games on console, then you will need a new console. There is nothing to say you have to trash your Xbox One console. I still use my Xbox 360, Xbox One & Xbox Series X. They all still work, and all play their games perfectly fine.

    Xbox One will not let me play my disc games, only digital.

    Well, wierdly enough I got it to run a disc... I layed it down flat instead of upright in the Xbox One S stand that I got with it and it has run the game.

    Not sure why that has happened since my old Xbox One was upright for 2 years and ran discs perfectly fine until 4 days ago...

    Will have to check my old Xbox One while flat to see if that was the same reason it wouldn't work.
    The original XBox one cannot be used upright, only S and X with a Stand.

    Good morning,

    I am currently on the One S and my husband has the One x. We have all versions of the XBox since it first came out and I think my personal preference is the One S. I enjoy my One S and while the graphics are a tad better on the X I just can't justify upgrading
    when the one I have works perfectly fine. Once the new consoles are released then I may look into upgrading.

    Xbox one x power up issue

    I have personally reset my Xbox One X 4 times in the past 6 months and it always goes back to not starting up/having an error when starting up or running really bad/slow and doesn’t install anything it tries to download.

    I have friends with the originals Xbox Ones and Xbox One S’ and they work perfectly fine, so i’m thinking its solely an Xbox One X issue
