    I think the Xbox One S has a standard figure 8 power connector on it.

    I see that it is a cable that I have seen before. Does this mean that I can use any cable that fits. I forgot to take my power supply with me and wonder if we have one that fits. I am guessing the transformer is now internal (its a white xbox s) so any cable
    that fits should work?

    Many other devices and home appliances use this connector. This even includes the original Xbox (from 2001) and the PS3 Slim, among many other examples.

    Generic cables can be found online for cheap, or you can borrow it from existing devices you might have. When I go over to my friend's house, I just steal the PS3 Slim power cable to power my Xbox One S.

    I understand you have a question about the power chord for your Xbox One S.

    Just a heads up though that Xbox One S has a universal internal power supply and you can use that anywhere. Which means that it is multi voltage except for the Xbox One original which has an external power supply.

    But UK uses 230V just for your information.

    • Are you having issue powering the Xbox One?

    I recommend to try the following troubleshooting article: Xbox One Power
    Supply Solution    .

    If you've already attempted all troubleshooting and need a replacement for your Xbox One, that begs the question: Is this an Xbox One Original or an Xbox One S or X console?

    You can request to purchase an additional power supply by
    contacting Xbox Support    , if this is for an Xbox One S or X; however, the Xbox One Original power supply is no longer available for purchase from the Microsoft Store, sadly.
