i have an xbox live gold yet when i try to go online it says i must have a gold account to do this i no i have gold account but i put a code in for a 2 day trial and as expected it say give this trial to someone else you have a gold account yet i still cannot
go online to play online games arrrrrrgh help wth is going on lol

Xbox Live Gold not Letting me play online

Bought Xbox Live gold recently. Says i have a live gold membership under account info on both the xbox and computer, and i was able to download games with gold.

But when i go to play online in any game, it says that i do not have Live gold and are therefore not eligible for online play despite having it. Solution?

xbox gold doesn’t work

i just bought a 3month Xbox Live gold card at the store and redeemed it, and it was successful, and it says I have Xbox gold on my account. But when I try to play a game, a screen pops up telling me to go gold. Then it says my account does not have the correct
permissions to do online multiplayer. Help??

There must be a glitch somewhere as you are showing as Silver not Gold. In order to play online you do require a Gold membership and a trial will only give limited access to some features.

To have a Gold membership, you first must have a Microsoft Account and an Xbox LIVE account

Me to when I try to apply to become a Community Ambassador, It say " You do not currently qualify for: Community Ambassador, You must have a Gold account to join this Specialization." Which I do have gold.

Hi, if you're trying to play online using the Gamertag "datguydub", it is because you do not have an Xbox LIVE Gold membership. You must have an active Xbox LIVE Gold membership to play online.
