i have an Xbox 360 backwards compatible game digitally installed on my Xbox 360, i have followed all the steps on the Xbox website to allow the game to be copied to my Xbox one, but the game (injustice) does not appear in the 'ready to install' menu

Backwards compatibility not working, followed all steps, whats wrong?

I followed all the steps specified on xbox.com to make/make sure my xbox 360 is backwards compatible. I've followed all the steps even when i goto setting it says "Microsoft" right next to my internal drive(250gb), but i can't play original xbox games. (yes
the games i'm trying are on the backwards compatibility list, and yes i have downloaded all the updates). Any ideas???

Games with gold question

Hi guys

Got a question for you. I purchased an Xbox One this week and had an interest in trying backward compatibility. I got Far Cry Blood Dragon from games with gold. Kind of cool. So, my Xbox One is on the ground floor and I put my old 360 in the basement. I tried to install Blood Dragon on my 360 so I can go downstairs play it when the kid use the TV. I got the following message:

"Assigned to another console"

Can you install games with gold or any digital Xbox 360 games on both an Xbox One and 360 at the same time?

Hi, if you own any xbox 360 game that is backward compatible (full list here
www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility), then you just log into xbox live on the xbox one with the same account you use on the xbox 360, and your games if bought digitally will show in your ready to install section, ready for you to install. If you have
a game on disk, then just insert the disk and install the game. If you have games that are not backwards compatible, then they might become compatible in the future, as they are adding new back compat games each month. Some Xbox 360 games will never be compatible,
those games may have an xbox one version, which if you want to play them, then you will have to purchase them again.

Hello if you own Xbox 360 games and are backwards compatible, they will appear automatically in Ready to Install. If you do not have them digitally and you have them on the disk and the games are backwards compatible, you can play these games over the
disk.

If you wish to play the games that you own on the Xbox 360 on the Xbox One, then those games (digital/physical) has to be supported for backward compatibility on the Xbox One. For digital games, that are part of the backward compatible list, show up in the
"Ready to install" section of your Xbox One. The criteria for these titles to populate the "Ready to install" section is that you have to be signed in with the same account that you initially used to purchased those games on your Xbox 360.

I don't think you will be able to download the demo version from the Xbox 360 store to the Xbox One.

Any game you have on the 360 digitally that is backwards compatible with the Xbox One will appear in your Ready to Install section of Games & Apps.

If you have the disc copy , you can just put it in and it will try to download the compatible copy.
