It sounds like there may be an issue with your Xbox One S. A beeping sound when the console is powered on can indicate that there is a hardware problem.

Some things you can try:

-Make sure the console is properly ventilated and in a cool, well-ventilated area

-Check the power supply to make sure it's functioning properly

-Make sure all of the cables are securely connected

-Try unplugging the console for at least 30 seconds to clear any residual power, then plug it back in

Try booting the console in safe mode and see if you can see anything on the screen

If the problem persists after trying these steps, request repair

I don't think its the cable(s), I mean the Xbox doesn't even stay on long enough to read/boot anything. It's almost like its in an idle mode. It shuts off so fast with and without the cable plug into the TV.

I have the same problem - I have my Xbox one S connected to my ATMOS enabled LG 2017 TV and then to the Atmos enabled SJ9 via ARC and neither sound output is recognised as supporting Atmos by the Xbox when I try to enable it as the bitstream out format.
A direct connection of the xbox to the SJ9 via the HDMI in connection also fails. Bitstream out with Dolby digital works fine.

Atmos works fine from other sources.

1. A low battery indicator on the controller, like they had on the XBOX 360.

2. Cross-over parties. Every time I see I have friends online, they are on 360. So I switch to the TV app (got my XBOX 360 connected to my XBOX ONE) to join their party. I would love to be able to join the party will staying on my XBOX ONE.

I am having the same issue, on top of the fact my S console cannot stay connected at all, and cannot find the wireless connection in my house aswell, i have to scan 7 or 8 times to find it, then when it does find it, it doesn't stay connected
