I have an RTX 2060 but can't get Minecraft Beta installed

I have found a solution. After I deleted my original insider account I created a new one and joined the rtx minecraft beta other than the nether beta which was what I was in. I then updated minecraft to rtx and unenrolled and reverted back to the normal
minecraft version.

Your CPU is from 2014 and it will be the bottleneck when it comes to getting higher frame rates on the latest games.

Your RTX 2060 isn't high end. It wasn't particularly high end when it came out in 2019. We're now in the RTX 4xxxx era.

You can pretty much forget getting a stable 60fps with Ray Tracing on in Minecraft. The RT in Minecraft is the far more computational intensive 'path tracing' RT. You're lucky to get 50fps with RT on.

that should work fine, yeah some cases dont give a lot of room to work with, what wattage and make is your psu.

you can also get a 2060 in a small form too.

An RTX 2060 requires more power then the 1650. The max draw of the 1650 is 75W which is drawn from the PSU via the motherboard. A 2060 draws more power as it requires a PCIE power connector from the PSU. The RTX 2060's can draw up to 200W, so anything below
a 450W PSU won't cut it.

Thanks for the quick reply.

The graphics car is a NIVIDIA Geforce RTX 2060, running on the latest December update.

I'm running windows 10 22H2, so can't imagine it being a compatibility issue.

There is 300GB on the partition it is installing on, plenty for the recommended amounts

I have 8GB of Ram, which is the minimum, but is stable at 70% while installing.

Do you have any further advice on this issue?

I have the same issue.

Windows 11 just built in the last few days and updated to latest Beta build.

Minecraft Windows 10 edition installed fresh this morning (after installing Xbox Insider etc. to try RTX then updating MC again).

Go into the Marketplace find some resource packs for free to try RTX.

Get them in my library, click on download, progress bar comes up at 0% and nothing happens.
