I have an order number and the game on my Xbox - but no way of getting it on the PC

Evening all.

I know this has probably been asked a thousand times already, but I have an order receipt for Minecraft on the Xbox one including the order number, but the game isn't showing up to download onto the PC.

It's the same account on both, even the same payment method I used for the Realms Plus (Bought a couple of days later) which shows up in the order history just fine.

I know it's bedrock edition (on the Xbox) because I've had people on PC join my game.

Do I need to buy it again?

Yes, you would need to purchase the PC version in order to download the game on the PC. Unfortunately Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title.

I tried some solutions already... Restarted the game, restarted the console, I checked the ready to install section, checked the store again... nothing.

As I said: the Pack shows up in me order history (in my Microsoft account on PC) with the redeemed code, order number and date, but there seems no way to find it on my Xbox.

Do you have the Xbox beta app for PC and not Xbox Console Companion? That is the only way to use Game Pass on PC. I believe you'll have to update Windows 10 in order to get the beta app.

If this is the case is there a way to move my purchase from my xbox to my pc xbox i hope i can in order to get latest gen technology

thanks! i tried that and it asks for an order number. My account order history is empty. I can see an order number in the console app. Not sure if that is the one. Is there any way i coud find out what the order number on my console is for?
