I have an issue with my purchases and i can't redeem code from prepaid cards

Xbox Live Gold can be purchased using a credit card or using a prepaid 25-digit redeemable code you can buy from many retailers.

If you don't have a credit card, it's best to go with the prepaid cards. Once you purchase one from a retailer, you can redeem the code in a number of ways. I'll provide an article that explains how to redeem an Xbox Live Gold prepaid subscription code:

Xbox Family Settings are where a parent account can allow the child account to complete a purchase. Once the intended purchase is completed, the parent can remove the ability for the child to complete any further purchases. Be sure to let us know the results!

I have entered a prepaid code I purchased a 12 month. I have tried to redeem the code says my billing account is locked and gave me an error called microsoft I have no violations against my acount they have no idea what's wrong with my account. Can't redeem
any code can't make any purchase. Using prepaid. And can't update provacy settings either
