I have an adult profile but can't download certain games?

is this for custom gamerpicture if so then there is no setting

No it's not it just won't let me see my settings and play online on certain games. And I can't change the account to an adult.

I have an adult account, I've also downloaded things from Xbox.com before. Works with the console, But of course it's hard to find certain ones.

Was the account created as a child account linked to an adult account?

If so, have the adult log in and update the setting for your account (I had this issue a few years back)

i download dragon age 2 on the website and im on a family plan and i can't download dragon age 2. so my boyfriend, he's the one with the head of the family plan changed me to the adult plan, and still i can't download. so he changed all the setting and still
can't download. but im an adult. why can't i download dragon age 2 for my in game item. but on was on a child's account thing first before my boyfriend changed my account to adult. i didn't even knew i was on a child's account.

Can you please describe the steps you did to create your new profile on the console?

If you already have a Microsoft Account (e.g. from Windows 8/10, or you're already using a Hotmail/Outlook email, OneDrive or Skype) download that account instead of creating a new account.

To do that, open the Xbox 360 guide by pressing the Xbox button on the controller, press X to sign out any existing profiles if necessary, and choose to "Download Profile". Enter your Microsoft Account email and password to download your existing account.

However:

If the previous owner enabled Parental controls, you might not be able to download or create a new profile, as this could allow kids to create an adult account on their own, and circumvent parental controls set up by their actual adult parents.

And getting a question about your favorite meal hints very much towards a console with enabled parental controls, since the parent has to allow the download and creation of profiles, so kids can't circumvent the settings with their "own adult" account.

So please try to follow Steeledwand7664's link and try to remove the parental controls from your console.

Then try to download or create your account again.

I highly recommend to NOT create a new account for yourself, if you already have a Microsoft Account. If you are creating accounts for your children, make sure to NOT use your own credentials, as the kids would then be regarded as adults and can't be restricted.
It will also lead to problems later, if the kids get older and want their own account, and can't take their game progress with them if they have to move accounts.
