Once you create a new account, follow these steps:

When your console boots up, under Who's playing today?, select Add new.

Enter the email address of your Microsoft account (or new email address) and follow the on-screen instructions.

You'll be asked to select a gamertag for the account. If you don't like the options, you can create a new one for free.

Review the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In, security & PIN preferences to finish adding your profile to the console.

If the e-mail does not exist, I would recommend getting in touch with our
Phone Support team. They'll be best equipped to look into your account with you and work on sorting things out. Please try to have as much information you used to create the account as you can.

Whenever I try to sign in, I get a message that says: "We couldnt sign you in. Try again in a few minutes, or check your account by signing in to account.live.com" The error code is: 0x87DD0006
