I have access to internet and xbox live features but not game servers

Hello Everyone,

Last night my xbox updated and from then on I've had issues. I can still use features such as netflix and youtube fine but when I attempt to play a game it times out and says "cannot connect to game server." I look at my network settings and it says I
am on a strict wired network although I have always connected wirelessly. I cannot attempt to connect to my wireless internet as it prompts me to unplug my wired connection which does not exist. My network test tells me I cannot connect to the DHCP server
and my multiplayer test says I have not set up my network. Both the xbox and router have been power cycled multiple times already with no luck. Any ideas?

Need to be signed in to XBox Live and EA Servers error

Hi all,

We have an XBox 360. We bought our first game that has on-line features (Madden NFL 16) recently. I created an XBox Live account. I am using a wireless access point to connect into the USB port of the XBox. When I test the network connection... the
console says I'm connected to the internet. It lets me sign in to XBox Live on the console. But when we try to use features of the game that need EA server access.... it says that 'we need to be signed in to XBox Live and EA servers'. I guess I don't know
how to sign in to EA servers or should this be automatic.

Thanks for any help trouble shooting. I've read a lot of posts but must be missing something.

My games can't connect to their servers

I have tried to access some of the online features on my games like battlefield4, assassins creed 4, and need for speed rivals and they all they they can't connect to their servers. My xbox one connects to the internet but I'm not sure what this problem
is.

Well Xbox Live is a service that Microsoft is providing. You have access to your internet thru other means, but if you wanna play online & access awesome features then you gotta pay for Xbox Live.
