I have a wired Xbox controller for my PC but it double inputs and has crazy high sensitivity.

Have you tried using a different USB cable? When did this issue start to occur?

You can try to reinstall the driver of your controller. Press Windows Key and search on the search bar the Device manager then select it. From the window, find your controller driver. You may reinsert your controller's USB connection to find out which driver you're going to delete. You may try to update it first and if no update, Uninstall it, unplug controller, restart PC, then plug your USB cable from your controller to install the driver again.

The mic/line in on your PC may be one of several things:

A mono mic socket: This is too sensitive for the line outputs of the XBbox

A stereo mic socket: same as above

A combined line/mic socket. If it is, and you'll have to check the spec of your PC, there will be a software switch to fiddle with so that the card doesn't use the Mic (high sensitivity) setting for the socket. Look in the taskbar for a speaker icon and
start there.

The output from the Xbox audio is a high-level signal which will distort when plugged into low-level mic sockets. Not all PC's have stereo line inputs, but many have mic only inputs.

A final option if you have an Optical input on your PC is to use the optical out from the back of the Xbox.

You could always check the game settings + XBL setting to make the sensitivity higher. My wireless controller has a somewhat "slow" sensitivity and my wired one seems to have insane sensitivity.

It could be that they are either on PC or have their sensitivity set to really high. Personally I like mine low because I'm too twitchy.

Try adjusting your sensitivity setting on your controller in games and that may help.
