How to connect usb microphones let's sing to xbox x series

Hello, JessicaB87 my name is Oskayra I am independent advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

The Xbox Series X does have only one USB port on the front, which can be limiting when connecting multiple USB devices. However, there are a couple of ways to connect two USB microphones for Let's Sing 2023 on your Xbox Series X.

    Option 1: USB Hub

The most straightforward solution is to use a USB hub. A USB hub is a device that allows you to connect multiple USB devices to a single USB port. You can connect the two USB microphones to the USB hub, and then plug the USB hub into the Xbox Series X's front USB port.

    Option 2: USB Adapter

If you don't have a USB hub, you can use a USB adapter. A USB adapter is a device that allows you to connect a USB device to a different type of port, such as an audio jack or a microphone jack. You can connect one of the USB microphones to the Xbox Series X's controller using an adapter, and then connect the other microphone to the front USB port.

    Which option is better?

The better option for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences. A USB hub is the more versatile option, as it will allow you to connect more USB devices in the future. However, a USB adapter is a more affordable option, and it will be smaller and more portable.

I hope this helps! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions or need additional clarification.

    Xbox One USB Headsets

Yes it's possible, <censored> useless and hard, but possible.

    Okay so let's do it.

You should have at least 1 controller for your Xbox One (I prefer two to make my life cableless while playing)

    1. Connect your Controller to Xbox One (USB connection recommended)

2a. Connect your Controller using 4-PIN Jack-Jack (3.5mm) cable to Line-Input in your PC (or something that has Line-In)

2b (alternative) Connect your Controller using 4Pin to 2x 3-Pin adapter and 3pin to 3pin Jack-Jack 3.5mm cable to your Microphone/Line Input in your PC (or something that can read your headphones)

    3. Configure your PC audio to transmit Line-In / Mic to Headset (just make your headset listening your audio input from LINE-IN aka AUX-IN)

While using 3-pin method you can also connect your adapter to line-out port and send headset data to line-out to make it possible to speak through your headset.

With 4-pin you need to have 4-pin line connection, which is quite uncommon in computers unless you have high-quality sound card, but it's still hard to get 4-pin one, so if you need microphone (I have Kinect, so I don't need one) just use 4-pin to 2x3pin
    Jack adapter.

    Like this one:

Remember to make sure it's CTIA (Jack 3.5mm standard used by X-One pad audio port, look https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/connect-compatible-headset for
    references)

    In shortcut:

    Your Console -> [USB] -> Pad -> [Jack 3.5mm adapter] -> [Jack 3.5mm cable] -> (PC AUX-IN Port and PC AUX-OUT Port) -> PC -> [USB] -> Headset

    or just

    Your Console -> [USB] -> Pad -> [4-pin Jack 3.5mm cable] -> (PC AUX-IN Port) -> PC -> [USB] -> Headset

This way I connected my Corsair Void to my XOne... It's hard, useless and overcomplicated, but it's working.

    Best regards,

    Patrick

Fone de ouvido com microfone separado [Translation - Headset with separate microphone]

    Hi there Code Filipe,

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is a question with connecting a microphone on the Xbox One console. In order to run this set up you may need a few items to complete the setup. I recommend to try this:

    1. USB Mic is connected to port of Xbox One to receive power (Mic must have a 3.5 mm jack)
    2. Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter will need to be connected to the Xbox One Controller
    3. 3.5mm 4 Pin to 2x 3 Pin 3.5mm Headset Splitter Adapter (Connected to Headset adapter 3.5mm)
    4. 3.5mm Aux cord (ex. 3.5 mm flat audio cable) goes into the mic and connected to the Splitter
    5. The headset will then be connected to the Splitter

If the issue persists, I recommend to contact the microphone's manufacturer to see if it is compatible with the Xbox One.

Give this a try and let us know the results.

    adaptive controller

Hi, I cant use a microphone with my adaptive controller and 'quad'-stick.

Is there a way to plug in a mic directly into the xbox via usb?

Not getting any answers on other threads.

if there isnt a way to connect directly via xbox usb ports, why is that and why hasnt it been changed? Not everyone wants to connect via their controller.

USB microphone not working on Xbox one

I have a USB adopter for my headphones.

I used this USB adopter connected to my headphones plugged into my USB port on my Xbox One X.

The USB port does not recognize my device. Another account has replied to your question with this information.

Their is an audio port on the Xbox controllers, this port is designed for input / output audio.

I use a microphone plugged into my headphones, sometimes.

I tried the USB port, no Audio category was displayed on my Dashboard UI on the Profile & system section.

I have heard and agree that USB transfers audio, as a higher quality compared to the microphone / headphones cable-prong.
