I have a usb formated but it says it's not.

Discus and support I have a usb formated but it says it's not. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I turned off my console and then turned it back on.     A USB flash drive is comptaible as a storage device. Just make sure it is formated to FAT32 and that it is formated as well. Have you configured the USB device on the Xbox?

    I can't play original games on Xbox

    I have done it 6 times, downloaded the file, clear the cache, still no success, very frustrating... always says game damaged error, I have an slim 4GB with external USB hard drive formated to 16GB. I dont know what esle do... please ,thanks

    Re-configure the USB drive then re-download the profile.

    but what if i had saves on the usb stick? wouldn't those be deleted?

    They're already gone if it is showing up as not formatted.

    You say the stick was formatted to fat32. Was that formatted by the xbox or the computer? Also, you say that you selected an option to release the USB stick. I have never seen such an option. Perhaps you accidentally erased the files on the USB stick
    or it was not initially formatted properly. In both instances you will have permanently lost all saved files you put on there. Any DLC content you can still re-download.

    If you moved everything to the USB before you formatted the HDD, then it should all still be on the USB. The USB had to be formatted to store Xbox 360 content before it could be used. If there's nothing on the USB if you moved everything to it before you
    formatted the HDD, then you may have accidentally formatted the USB by mistake.
