I have a suggestion to be passed along to Microsoft of going from disc to digital

When we have a disc of a game and later decide to buy digital. Shouldn't have to download entire file of the digital since its the same as the disc version since its on my HDD. I could see a whole new download if its a deluxe or special edition but its
not. Since the disc version is also a download and not a disc being ripped. Cause I bought BF4 today on sale for $9.90 and I already have disc version but I like the convenience of digital. So I bought it yet now I have to sit through the download. Yet
on 360 if we had a disc game and later it became free with games with gold on 360 it be just a tiny download of a cookie license transfer. Not full download. YAY or NAY?

This Turn of Events Stunts Microsofts Growth and Gamings

Hello...the digital age is already here! Nothing is stopping you from having a digital copy of your games. Can we possibly move beyond this? The ONLY thing that is hampering digital from going mainstream is that it's just as costly if not MORE costly
to buy a digital copy than one from the store. That shouldn't be the case. If the retailer is omitted and the packaging costs are eliminated, this price cut should be passed along to the consumer, but it isn't. Until digital copies are the more attractive
deal, we will continue to purchase the hard copy. End of story.

You're not alone, what gets me is things like Army Of Two The Devils Cartel on demand at £49.99 and it can be bought on disc for £19,99 from many on line stores.

Are you reinstalling from disc or digital? There are quite a few updates that go along with it and those are now incorporated into the install.

I think if they do make digital cheaper they should drop the street dates on retail discs. When a store gets it, let them sell it for full price. Then release it digitally on release date for cheaper. It would keep retailers happy and we would have a choice
to go out and get it right away or wait a few days to save.

I still don't think going all digital is worth it unless you 100% know you will love it and play it for at least 3 years.

At least with a disc, if you grow bored you can pass is along.

This is because there's a fundamental difference between digital and discs. How it currently is (and will be for the next generation it seems). If you could just get any sort of game that you have a disc for on digital download then people would just borrow
games from friends, rent games and then return them. That sort of stuff isn't going to ever happen. If you want to buy digitally and don't think you can take care of your game discs then I suggest going with digital downloads.

I usually get only digital to avoid disc issues, if the disc is new, you could try contacting the developers, some have a replacement disc program

I'll try contacting where I bought it along with the developers. Hopefully something can be done about it.
