I have a solution for people to have Open NAT.

Hello, I'm asking you to add to your network settings.

The problem is NAT type. The Xbox always selects a port with a five-digit number.

So I can not have Open NAT. But sometimes I do not know what the reason is, Xbox sets up Port 3074 and at that point I have NAT Open. I'm asking you to add a manual port write option to your port settings. Or, that port 3074 is statically available. This option
should solve the problem for more people. My internet provider can not give me a public IP address. Because he does not have the opportunity now. And he told me that I had to wait for it to go to IPv6, but it would be another year. Which is not possible for
me to play and I need to have Open NAT as soon as possible. Once again, please add the option to manually write the port or make port 3074 statically in the port selection. Thank you

    :)

For everybody having issues - what is your NAT set to? Moderate NAT will not work for some people and they won't be able to hear you. Once your NAT is OPEN however you won't have any issues. I had the same one until I fixed it. So you may want to try to
open NAT up and see what kind of results you get.

Here's a guide to try and get that open for you:

Force NAT-type from Open to Moderate

If you NAT type is Open that is exactly where it needs to be for the best gaming experience.

With an OPEN NAT type, you’re able to chat with other people, as well as join and host multiplayer games with people who have any NAT type on their network.

    Hope this helps. Good Luck!!

Ports are set up at the router level, either automatically through UPnP, or manually configured by yourself in the router’s web configuration pages.

To manually configure your ports, you will need to go to your router’s login page (e.g. “http://192.168.1.1”), login with the user/pass you have already set up (or the default credentials, which you can find by googling your router’s model number), and go
to the settings page for port forwarding. To ensure that the port forwardings always go to your Xbox, you will need to get your Xbox’s MAC address and set up a “static IP” so your router’s DHCP server will assign the same IP whenever your Xbox connects to
your network. The exact details of how to log in to your router varies with each brand and model, so you’ll have to google search for steps.

Having IPv6 depends on whether your ISP supports it, and if you have a modem/router/gateway that supports IPv6 as well. Since your ISP apparently won’t be supporting it for another year, you’ll have to stick to the steps above.

In that case, you need to change your internet provider. If you threaten to leave their service, they WILL find a way to get you a public IPv4 address. Internet Providers that ran out of IPv4 adresses often "hide" multiple of their customers behind one single
IPv4 address in a similar way that your router "hides" all your devices behind your one internet connection. This is called "Carrier Grade NAT", and usually is combined with an IPv4 tunnel through IPv6, called DS-Lite.

So I guess the service person of your ISP doesn't know what they're talking about.

As for the Xbox port thing:

Usually, the Xbox uses the 3074 port, unless it finds a second console in your network (e.g. a Xbox 360, which also uses 3074 to listen to inbound Xbox Live packets).

So a few months ago, they added a setting where you can choose a different port to listen for incoming Xbox Live traffic. You can there choose which port number your console should use from a selection of a few port numbers.

However, no matter what port setting you choose (and then configure your port forwarding rules in your own router accordingly), as long as your ISP does hide you behind a single public IP through CG-NAT, you will never get a proper open NAT.

Most ISPs can give you a public IPv4 address, if you specifically ask for it. Some do it for free, others want a monthly fee.

If your ISP is really unwilling (and it's really a case of "not wanting to", and not "technically unable to") to give you a public IPv4 address, find a different ISP.
