I have a question.

Is it possible for me and my friend to play local split screen over the internet though Xbox one streaming to windows 10 feature. Let say i made a VPN connection and my friend connect to my network and i let him stream my Xbox one to his windows 10 pc i
have seen videos of people using VPN to stream there xbox one outside of there network. I want to know if this is possible to play local split screen over the
internet it will be like my friend is right next to me but not and this is similar to PlayStation share play feature. I read the Xbox live terms over and over to make sure it not illegal and it not i did not find anything related to this. My friend
does not have a Xbox one and i want to play halo the master chief collection split screen with him and he also want to play but he is so far away and i thought about streaming my xbox one to his pc i know it will be aggy but it better than nothing.

This update would have effected a very very small amount of consoles, and on the ones it will affect it will not play any games at all. So from what you have described that is not what happened to your console.

And from your post it also seems your console was not working well before this update was released.

Just to clarify the other poster is indeed correct, because you opened the console Microsoft will not repair it for you and they definitely would not replace it. So unfortunately if your console is broken your only option is to buy a new one.

If you like the MW series then you might want to get MW3. But if you're not going to have XL for a while. Then you should get Skyrim instead. To me MW3 is only wroth it for the multiplayer, and to finish the story. With out the MP it would get boring pretty
fast. Skyrim on the other hand you can have endless amounts of fun, and what not. The only downside to it is that it's a single player game. Which mean no multiplayer.

But I would suggest renting both games. So you can decide on what game you want to get. I don't want you to buy a game you 're not going to enjoy.

I don't think this is going to end up working smoothly. I can't speak on behalf of setting up the VPN connection. Your friend will have the controller synced up through the PC and you will have your controller synced up through the Xbox One. Both controllers
will essentially be acting as controller #1 (console) and controller #2 (PC). I was able to set up something locally with a guest account and this worked exactly like you would think. However, I encountered numerous display issues on both console and PC,
freezing screens, sound from the game continue while on the Home screen and no display in running the mini window, and controller cursors on the screen not there.

If you can get the VPN connection working, then I think it would be possible. However, with just a local experience it didn't run as smooth as I would have hoped. Just wanted to give you some feedback.

 

Just did a second test with something a little more action packed (Killer Instinct). Still didn't have a VPN connection, but locally it went extremely smooth and I didn't see any of the issues I had from my first test.
