I have a question concerning my son's child account on my Xbox One.

I am considering getting my son his own Xbox One for Christmas. He has a child account on my Xbox with his game saves and achievements. My question is when I get his Xbox, will I be able to transfer his "stuff" over to his Xbox so he won't have to lose what
is saved on mine? If so, how do I do this?

Family/Parent/Child Accounts and Games for Divorced Family - across 2 Xbox Ones

"I recommend setting up the 6 digit passkey then on all accounts." - do you mean those passkeys are PER account - so each Adult/Parent account can have a different Passkey?

Also - not sure if you answered it but - can each Parent account have *separate* payment credentials on the accounts? (i.e. versus One payment credentials per Family Account; versus per Parent account)

Another related question - so ... can Mom's Xbox One have only the Mom's account and the son's (Child) account on it - while Dad's Xbox One have only the Dad's account and son's (Child) account on it? Or will both Xbox Ones automatically have BOTH parents
accounts on it because of the Family Account that the Child is under?

Xbox family share question

Hi there - already visited help pages concerning family share but still have two questions:

I have a One since a long time with me as parent and various child accounts on it. A few days ago I bought a new Xbox One S and activated one of the childs accounts on it + activated 14day live gold and some digital purchases for this child account.

I wanted to remove the child from family since it has its own Xbox now, but after removing, the child cannot login without parental confirmation. So how can I completely remove the child from family allowing the childs account to act like an adult account?

Secondly, since child is still in family my Xbox downloaded the purchases I made on the childs console. Thats ok but I wonder why I can play them without the need of the logged in child? Thats curious

As soon as his profile is on the new Xbox you shouldn't have to do anything it should all transfer over

As far as I know, if he has an account on your X1, all games saves and profile settings are automatically saved to the cloud storage.

^Yup... as long as the console is connected to XBL when he plays, it should all be stored on the cloud and should sync to his profile when it downloads to the new console.

I have one adult account profile and a child profile.

My son has gained an awful lot of Minecraft and Forza 4 game achievements whilst logged into my account.

With concerns over his safety, I have now created a child account for him.

How do I transfer all my sons achievements data to his new profile?

Note: XBOX Gold Live is active on both profiles.

prosupdean is correct. You cannot as nothing is transferrable between accounts.

Another quick question.....If I have an additional "adult account" on my Xbox (not a child's account) , one for my wife and older son, do I have to pay for a separate Live account? or does the one Xbox Live account allow me to add everyone in my family and
for them all to have the separate ability to play Xbox Live with no extra charge? and have separate achievements ...etc.
