I have a problem with the light on my xbox, light shows fully red, please help

Hi, as the title says, I have this problem with my xbox, going to try it on and the light should be green is supposed shown in red, the error code showing flashing lights is 0010, I did not find solution so I ask your help, and I hope someone can

Help to fix xbox 360 red light/dot and black screen

hi can anyone help me? A red light/dot has come up on my power button on my xbox 360 and the screen is black and whn I turn it on it sounds like it wants to start but the screen stays black and the fan doesnt seem to start either and ther is a red light/dot
on the front power button. I have tryed unplugging all the cables and let it wait Bt it still shows red light. I dnt have a hard drive so I can't b that before the red light came on the image was fuzzy so I turned the console off and whn i turned it back on
the red light/dot came on and the console fan doesn't start. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME

SOLID Red Light on Power supply

Yes, I have followed all trouble shooting steps that this site offers with this problem.

Yes I replaced the power supply..same solid red light outcome..

Yes, everything is firmly plugged in..same red light problem

Yes, I tried different plugs...same red light problem

No, it's not plugged into a surge protector...same red light problem

Yes, I have unplugged everything and then back up..same red light problem

This is the original xbox 360 NOT the slim.. there is no hard-drive...

annnd no the xbox is not showing any red lights.. it will NOT cut on what so ever.

What is the problem here? it's not the power supply because i just bought a new one today.. with no fix to my problem..is the xbox? how do i fix it? No I don't have warranty so I have to do it myself.. thanks.

That is what is typically called the RROD (Red Ring of Death) and unfortunately there really isn't any reliable user fixes for the error. You will either have to get it repaired or replaced. My suggestion would be to replaced the console and since the
360 is being phased out I would recommend upgrading to an Xbox One.

Hi,

there are many different light combinations on the xbox 360 that all have different reasons for showing. What lights are you getting?

For example is it one red light, flashing orange lights or three red lights ?

Hi there. Sorry to hear that your having problems. I see you're using the xbox wireless adapter to connect to your router. Can you tell me what color the light on your adapter is showing?

A Green adapter means it fully configured.

No light means there is no power reaching it. Check all your cables.

A red light means your adapter is connected to power and ready to be configured.

However, if the red light is flashing or blinking it means you may be experiencing a hardware failure.

in the case that you may be experiencing a hardware failure please contact xbox support.

Check your light and let us know what color it is.

If it was the camera lighting that made it show a red light why is it not showing a red light later in the video I assume they were using the same camera

Please note that it's not the "One red light on the bottom right" problem, the green light in the MIDDLE of the power button is red, and that black screen is displayed every time I turn on the Xbox, which makes it unplayable.
