    i have a problem with my home xbox


    In this season of the year i usually travel to my parent's house, i have an xbox there and an xbox in my apartment. So i tried to change the xbox home from the one i have in my apartment to the one i have here with my parents and it said that i no longer
    have any chances till 09/07/2018. I know that they changed the system from 3 chances a year to 5 chances, so it doesn't have any sense, why i don´t have any chance to change my xbox home?

    If anyone had this issue and got it solved, please answer.

    Hey there!

    There is some great information at
    My Home Xbox Setting on Xbox One | Share Your Xbox One that
    might help you out a bit. You do only have 5 switches per year; however, if you have never had that reset you can contact Xbox Support (1-800-4MY-XBOX) to see about having that reset. You can only have it reset once in a 1 year period by support.

    Also, if you have two consoles, there is no need to change the My Home Xbox each time. You only need to use the feature if you are going to sign into a different profile and would like to share your games, gold, apps etc... with a different profile on that
    console. If you are using the same profile at both locations then there is no need.

    Having problems with the My Home Xbox

    Sorry to hear it. There is a limit to how often an account can set an Xbox One as the Home console. This is 3 times per year and cannot be adjusted.

    You'll need to wait the rest of the year out before his account can set the console as Home again.

    In the meantime, you're going to have to let him know what happened and hope that he allows you to have his gamertag signed in while you play games.

    Yes but if it is a digital copy and it is my home xbox then I should be able to play it offline. And as I said above I do have it set as my home xbox which is why I have a problem.
