    I have a problem with my controller on Windows 7


    When i try to connect my controller to my computer it doesn't work , the button 1 and 4 (at the center ) light up for like 1 second and then my computer doesn't recognize it , i played yesterday without any problems but now it doesn't work ... Can you help
    me ? I have a problem with my controller on Windows 7 :D

    the Xbox controller is not yet compatible with windows 8, try and see if you can update the drivers for the controller. my friends and I have the same problem so we all went back to windows 7.

    Xbox One Controller in Windows 7

    I also have the exact same problem. I tried to use the xbox one controller on my windows 8.1 PC and a windows 7 laptop. Both give me the exact same issue. I even went to the Microsoft store and found out that my controller works on a Windows 10 PC.

    I think Microsoft removed the driver online because Windows 10 comes with the driver pre-installed on the OS. However Windows 8.1 and 7 users still need to download the driver and someone forgot about that.

    Can someone at Microsoft please make the driver available online?

    I have the same issue.

    My controller was working fine on Windows 7 but doesn't work anymore on W10.

    I tried to install driver for windows 7 but with the same result.

    Any clue microsoft team ?
