I have a problem with my account and have NO idea how to fix it.

Basically whenever I sign into my account now it tells me I HAVE to update my credit card info. I previously had 2 credit (gift) cards set up to my account. After attempring to update the both of them it still came up with an error message that it didnt
work. It wouldve signed me into xbox live after that message. But I couldnt access my friends list or messages and it would say Im blocked from starting parties. I then signed out went back to the message by signing in again but I deleted the card I had used
first with no problem. But when I tried deleting the other one it would give me the same error message and put me into that restricted version of xbox live. Any and all help would be MASSIVELY appreciated.

Issue with my account affecting deposits

I have a problem with my account that’s preventing the deposit of over 16,000 rewards points. I got an email saying there seems to be a problem with my account and to get in touch with the support forum. I have no idea what’s wrong or how to fix it.

Try logging out of all profiles and then logging back in. If that fails remove the profile completely and then re-download them. Give it a try and let us know. Good Luck!

 

This sounds like your gold membership is suspended. This happens if you are on automatic renewal and the subscription could not be paid because your gift cards have not enough credit left.

So your only chance is to add a new credit card or call the customer support to add a different payment method and have your gold membership activated again.
