i have a prepaid card for 12months xbox live/gold

Well there is a problem

One rhere is no 12 months card of xgu

Its a max of 3months for prepaid codes for xgu

You wouldve bought a 12months of regular gold

And xgu cards dont convert so there is no way it wouldve been a prepaid code for.12 months of xgu

The only way to get 12months is by buying gold and upgrading

Remeeming errors can be caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check if your billing information is correct at
http://billing.microsoft.com and also check
http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues, these need to be sorted prior to being able to redeem codes.

After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

Also check that the Xbox Live account, the console and code all match region wise, using different regions for any of them cause issues too.

the promotion was on my xbox console's dashboard when my xbox live gold was about to expire. There was two options for the promotion, one was a discounted 12months and the other one was 600points if you use a prepaid card. I just checked my email, there
is no email with the 600 points.....

I just downloaded or uploaded a 12month xbox gold live card and they still wont play

I too cannot redeem my prepaid 12month gold xbox live membership card on my Xbox one, It says something went wrong after it already confirms that it's a valid card and what it is redeemable for,

I do not have any fraud or suspicious behavior and I can't redeem my code, This isn't my problem either, It's MS problem like above me said, Fix it!
