Discus and support I have a odd problem with every online game. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; For some reason every game that is online gets an odd spike of lag.     I have a odd problem with every online game.


    For some reason every game that is online gets an odd spike of lag. But it wasn't always like this. An example would be on fortnite because I can see my ping the whole time I can have a solid 33 ping but at some point at random the ping will skyrocket up
    to 1100 max. It would stay at that for a couple more seconds and go back down. But it is like this for every game. When I would go to my network settings I would check my nat type which is open. I would then do a detailed statistic and find in general good
    numbers.

    I don't know if anyone has had a similar or same problem but would appreciate any advice to fix this. Because at this point it is just annoying to play anything.

    I have a problem with ''online''

    I can't invite my friends anymore to visit my Realm in Minecraft, the change happened 4 days ago without warning and they says I ''have'' to look at my settings in the console, but nothing changed and I don't know what cause the problem.......

    Hey

    I would recommend power cycling both your console, power supply, and networking equipment. Simply turn off your console like you normally would then unplug the power from both your console to the wall and your router/modems power aswell. Then wait five minutes
    and plug the router/modem in first. Once that is fully back up and running plug your console in and try it again.

    I’d recommend you hard restart by resetting all settings on the Xbox and reconnecting all accounts.

    I Get an Error Message     which has steps on how to fix high latency. Irregular lag spikes can be attributed to a hardware issue with the network. We recommend contacting your internet service provider in order to find out if there are any issues with the
    home network. Be sure to let us know the results!
