Gametag change

I created my gametag and account a week or so ago. For some reason, I cannot sign in using that name anymore. Now I am forced to create a new account with a given name. I want my original name back.

Recovering GT

I had an old gamertag about 10 years ago. I have access to the email address on file, I was able to receive the recovery code sent by xbox support chat. When I log into xbox.com with that same email address, it shows a NEW gamertag that was created a couple
of days ago. The new gamertag was created when I signed into xbox.com with the email address (it acted like it was a new account).

Is there anyway we can get the old GT associated with the email address?

Whenever I try to login to my Epic Games account normally on the Epic Games website, the website redirects me (whenever I press sign in) to a page that forces me to make a new account. I have tried contacting Epic, but to do that, I need to log in, and for some reason, I cannot log in because whenever I try to login, the website redirects me to a page that forces me to create a new Epic Games account. I haven't found any solution to this problem yet, so hopefully posting it on here will give me some answers.(NOTE: I do not use an Xbox, I am just having trouble with this issue on the Epic Games website)

I have a similar issue. I had already migrated my account months ago and due to inactivity I was logged out. When trying to log back in with my Microsoft account, none of the emails I've tried are logging into the correct account I migrated with. I have no idea what email I used to create the Microsoft account I migrated with as I have tried every email I can think of. The other Microsoft accounts the emails log me in with just create new migrated accounts which tell me I need to purchase Minecraft as I do not own it, despite me buying it 2 years ago and playing it with no issues up until now. I don't want to buy the game again as I know I already own it, I just don't know how to access the account I own it on again.
