    I have a gold subscription, but I'm not ranked to VIP anymore


    I have been an Xbox Live Gold member for a little over a year now and before I was ranked to level 2 VIP status and was receiving 4% back on purchases, but now the MyRewards page is saying I don't have a gold subscription. It's not because the MyRewards
    page needs to update because this has been like this for over 3-4 months now.

    Apologies for the inconvenience. There is currently an issue with some preview program members were new subscriptions are not correctly recorded. This was due to changes for those members in how subscriptions are stored in the database. We are working on
    getting this new subscription data correctly reflected. We are also delaying MyVIP for April until this issue is resolved, to ensure that you are rewarded at the Gold level. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this delay.

    The staff will have to review your gold status and what is causing the issue. However, keep in mind that MyVip is not dictated by gold status, but how much money we spend. It also resets yearly. The last reset was on January 1st.

    What counts toward VIP star ranking?

    Subscriptions, in-game consumables, and preorders do not count towards VIP. So it would not be possible to have the preorder count towards your star rank.
