I have a gift card from a store that has more than 25 digits

Hi,

I have two gift cards from a return to a brick and mortar store from years ago that I'd like to use. The back of the card has three lines of numbers that add up to way more than 25. How do I redeem this for use online now that all the stores in California are closed?

It may no longer be possible since the stores have closed. At one point you could contact support and they could change the gift card, but I'm not sure if they still do that. Microsoft Store support

I saw that some people here on the forum are getting banned for buying gift cards from online stores that’s why I am going to buy a physical cards from a store.

Does the gift cards they bought doesn’t have 25 digits ?

And how the code work if it was fake ?

Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Gift card codes are normally twenty five character codes to be redeemed from the console or website. What does your Gift card code look like exactly? Where was it purchased? I suggest returning to the retailer and confirming it was
