I have a family account with microsoft ( all outlook ), but i don`t see them in xbox live.

When i log with the username of mine childern. i can change anything, it redirects me to a page "manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-child-to-family-account-online"

I am lost, i dont know where to do this. because i added mine childeren to the outlook family account.

Why don´t you just upgrade to Outlook with your hotmail account?

That is one click and it does it all alone.

You will still have the @hotmail but it will be a Outlook account.

It is that easy.

Go to your hotmail and click in the right bottom corner I think.

It should say upgrade to Outlook.

You will have all your stuff in Outlook.

You don´t need to switch e-mail addresses

I am the head of our family account (@live) and years back I created a single account (@outlook with restrictions) for both my children to share for xBox purposes. Now that they are older and play different games and want different screen names, I want to
change that single shared @outlook account to another @outlook which my oldest already uses for other Microsoft services. He wants the same screen name and all of his stats to carry over to the changed @outlook address.

Through searching, I am only finding ways to add an alias to the current account. An alias will not work in this situation because the @outlook is ALREADY in use, so it cannot be added as an alias.

I know changing an MS account has always been a debate in this regard, but is there anything at all that can be done?

Again:

1 shared @outlook account will become 2 child accounts. The current shared @outlook account will be changed to another @outlook account and I will create a NEW @outlook account for my youngest.

I already have done that, but i just can`t see them in mine xbox live profile i also checked if mine personal settings are correct. but now i havent got any clue what to do.

 

You have to clarify on what you mean, you cannot see their accounts/gamertags? be able to login to them? on your friends list?

Xbox One online safety and privacy settings

 

First when i login with mine account in the family page i can see mine 2 childeren and my wife, i already added them.

Then when i log into xbox account and go to xbox preferences, --> privacy settings i only see mine gamertag.

When i log into 1 of my childeren accounts, i see the family page on microsoft, but when i go to xbox preferences i see the profile of mine child, but when i go to privacy, then i got a page with 2 error codes.

and the browser page is called "www.xbox.xom/nl-NL/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-child-to-family-account-online"

But i can see them on the family page of microsoft, i can`t solve this problem.

So there a 2 options i believe....

-Find someone with a xbox or call xbox support!

 

it's pretty straight forward to edit child's privacy setting but I guess some people will run into issues. I recommend on Contacting tech support about this if you went to all the links given.

I'm sorry to see any issues seeing the child account on Xbox Settings! This is actually a known issue with users who do not have Xbox consoles to sync up the accounts. We're actively working on it at this time.
