I have a charge on my credit card from Microsoft that I have not authorised

Hi we are in the UK - my son entered a code thinking he was getting free stuff for Fortnight but we have just discovered a charge to our credit card. We came across a form to in the hope of getting a refund but now can't find the form!! Am very frustrated,
we did not authorise this payment from credit card but can't find any help

I never authorised a debit order on my account and i have been overcharged. Please refund the R1503.74 plus R3.00 bank charges

It doesn’t seem that Microsoft is getting involved in this. It might not be a Microsoft transaction at all.

I recommend you get you bank card stopped and report the fraudulent transactions to your bank’s fraud department. If it is through a credit card they should be able to reimburse you.

I also suggest that you find an alternative method of payment for your Microsoft account. My card details have been compromised twice.

I think he is referring to a credit card not a pre-paid card.

If it is a credit card then have you contacted the card issuer to make sure you didn't trigger a security check?

I've had occasions when using my credit card online that payment fails due to the bank deciding it looks suspicious. I then have to phone bank to authorise the payment.

I have the same message with a credit card bud. Microsoft support have been trying for a week to fix it with no luck. Also they have been taking pound payments from my account each time I have tried, and NOT paying them back. I'd check with Paypal that they
are not charging you each time they give you this 'can't authorise' BS.

I'm new to xbox, and when I call them again tomorrow I think I'll ask them to delete everything. From looking at the web it seems they are not competent with billing or information security.

I have a charge after purchasing online roughly 1%, of what I bought, on reflection their was a auto fill from microsoft store of my credit card as I was filling the details, are they charging me for this service?
