    In the following link you can access your “Order History” to see what the charge is due to. I also recommend you to check in the “Subscriptions” section to see if there are any active subscriptions.

    If it is an active subscription, it is first necessary to cancel it and then if your account is eligible for a refund it will give you the option.

    If the charge was for digital content you can request a refund by following the steps described in this link:

    Hello Jacqueline, you acted correctly if you think that your account was hacked, however if the purchase via Paypal does not appear in your Microsoft account, check that you do not have other secondary accounts where your Paypal account may be added as a payment method.

    Payment Options

    If you have more accounts, or you can't find them through your Microsoft account, try checking it in your Paypal account App for mobile devices.

    When logging into your Paypal account Go to Profile»Data and Privacy»Assigned Permissions.

    And see all companies that have permission on your account.

    I am sorry about this, you will need to contact Microsoft Billing support, for help, and also I will ask you to consider securing your account.

    Please follow these steps exactly as written to speak with chat support

    Sign in to your Microsoft account on your browser and click the link below for support

    > Click Microsoft 365
    > Click on Get Home Support
    > In the box shown type "Billing" and choose any of the options shown to you
    > Now scroll down and click Contact Support (near the bottom a little to the left of the center)
    > In the next screen it will ask for more details (fill in as appropriate)
    > In products and services: select Microsoft 365 and office
    > In category select: Billing and payment updates or Cancel Subscription
    > Click confirm
    > Click Chat with a support agent in your browser

    To secure your account:

    I strongly advise you consider changing your password to a complex alphanumeric one.

    To change password, go to account.microsoft.com > Click on Security > Change Password

    Then you can go one step further to sign out all signed-in sessions so that anywhere you are signed in it will now ask for a password:

    Can you please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and check if you can see the transaction from there? If it's not showing from there, please check all Microsoft accounts that you own.
