I have $30 in Micro soft money. It wont let me buy Xbox Live Gold

I have thirty dollars on my xbox console yet Microsoft wont accept it for a payment option. What's wrong with Microsoft money? Its there for the taking and you wont accept it. Tried on the console and xbox.com to see if I can buy LIVE with it. Wont work.
Microsoft wants a credit card so they can dib into it anytime they want with a automatic renew. Heck with that. I'm not gonna use credit card. Do I have to call up and have them manually renew it with the $30 or what? Lame policy if they don't accept money

xbox 360 gold failure

my xbox 360 wont let me buy gold and i put 25$ on my account and it wont let me use that money why?

 

The currency cannot be used to purchase Xbox Live Gold memberships at this time. This is because of the auto renew feature that is set up and can be turned off by you at any time.

At the moment the only methods you have for purchasing a membership is by using a credit card/paypal or purchasing a membership card from your local retailer.

 

Yeah the online Microsoft help desk told me the same thing. Then she told me to put it in the suggestion feedback forum so I did. This should of been done back when Xbox patch change xbox points to currency. Shouldn't matter if its prepaid Microsoft points
card or prepaid microsoft xbox live subscription. Still was paid for. Even shows it in the options in billing on the console. But the text is light gray with no option yet. Oh well looks like this $30 will collect dust then.
