I hate to have to point this out to the Xbox Team

It really bugs me that Microsoft isn't really moderating stuff, even in plain site, or the obvious places. For now, I am talking about the "trending" feature on Xbox One. What I am trying to say is that Xbox or the Enforcement Team really needs to send at
least 1 or 2 of their staff to moderate the trending. Why must good hearted users have to report this when it is available to 80% of users (depending if the user wants to upload the image on a lesser rating game) and wait at least a day for them to notice?

Xbox is a family system.. Since users can easily change the image of the game screenshot, that alone should make Microsoft look out for immature people. You should be able to remove these disgusting adult images off the trending in a heartbeat, not wait
for people to report said image before taking action. This alone makes me think they don't check the feed. I know, because I reported 5 screenshots from trending, even told Support Staff the Gamertag and stuff, the said images were still up a couple days more.

Lastly, no, I am not asking one or two staff to check EVERY feed item there is, just the trending, which has around 30 items I guess. Before people start saying it's a dumb idea, look at it from this perspective, what if you have
the console in the Living Room and you check trending and see that.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but all they're going to tell you here is to call customer service and to have patience. Plenty of us in the same boat and I've finally come to terms with the fact that I may have to abandon my main gamertag for a little
while when MW3 comes out. I think MS will start panicking a bit when no one is playing BF3...well they'll play but not many people will be able to get online to play or spend MS points on upgrades.

EDIT: the good thing is though, Brad is an idiot. The friends list restores itself shortly after recovering your gamertag. It took a few days for it to come back on mine.

 

Xbox Support cannot make changes to the system or report anyone on your behalf, on what you see on the Xbox console. There is a dedicated group for that and that would be the Xbox Enforcement Team. They receive thousands of reports each day, probably each
hour and they have to sort through each report and impose an action if needed.

From the Home screen on the Xbox One you go to Community and you select the Trending option. The key here is Community. You have people taking advantage of what the service allows. Xbox has a process in place to report images or users but its again the Community
that will need to help report these people.

Since Xbox Support does not monitor these forums you might try and post your request on the User Voice page -

Thank you for replying. But this is where I was getting at, the community gets to spam the report function on the feed for the Enforcement Team, and that'll take a minimum of 2 days up to 2 months in my experience. I am saying that either their needs to
be an added report function for the truly bad items (if users abuse this function by using it on items that aren't this, then they should get a small punishment because if you're gonna lie, then you obviously can't be trusted with reporting) or have a max
of 2 members on the trending at all times for these types of things. You say the Enforcement Team is already doing that, but by experience, I doubt that though. I just want a system for them to remove these quickly, not wait 2+ days while more people see "this".

 

The more community and other features that they add, the more options that are out there for people to abuse the system.

We will never know how many people are on the Xbox Enforcement Team or the methods they use to do what they do.

They have a system in place for people to report -

• Player name or Gamertag: The player's Gamertag or real name is inappropriate.
• Cheating: The player used unauthorized modifications or attempted to gain an unfair advantage in multiplayer.
• Player picture: The player’s gamer picture is inappropriate.
• Voice communication: The player used inappropriate, abusive, or threatening language in voice communications.
• Unsporting behavior: The player didn’t show good sportsmanship.
• Quitting early: The player frequently quit multiplayer games to avoid losing.

Plus other reporting for clubs, and community plus other aspects within the Xbox system. I'm sure they receive thousands of reports each days and I doubt there's a day that they are or have ever been caught up.

I'm sure I wouldn't want that job of having to listen to the vile things a lot of these people say or do and then have to go back and do a case review on the person that's stating "I did nuthin' wrong".

 

Why can’t someone at Xbox... anyone at Xbox, simply look at trending a few times a day and remove the obvious filth that has infested it? Seriously, I would do this for free.

 

It's not up to you, me or Xbox Support for enforcement actions. There's a process in place as I stated before. And no one here can do anything about it.

You state you'd do it for free, you can report the individual violations as they occur. You have that option.
