I think that worth reinstalling Windows at this point.
The other option is report this problem to the flight simulator team if you want to skip that

Normally, if you purchase a game directly from the Microsoft Store, the game will be tied directly to your Microsoft account. After downloading and installing the game, log in with your account to play.



But given that you are referring here to the flight simulator key, can I understand that you may have a Microsoft flight simulator code, but you don't know how to redeem it?

I uninstalled Flight Simulator but need my purchase code to reinstall it. I don't have that, only the invoice from when I purchased it. What do I need to do to reinstall the program?

Thank you. Im totally frustrated. I didn’t know I had purchased a digital copy of ms flight simulator. There was no mention in the Amazon product description. I don’t want to use Xbox app or have to pay subscription fee to use the flight simulator. This was not described in amazons product explanation. Am I stuck with this?
