    I had the standard game pass and I wanted to upgrade to ultimate...


    I had the standard game pass and I wanted to upgrade to ultimate. it was explained that the time I had left on my standard subscription would be converted to ultimate, then the xbox gave me a QR code to sort it on my phone, the link said I'd be charged £1 but I got charged £12.99 and my current standard subscription time did not get converted.

    I also had to wait 30 mins for a chat with a support member and once the queue got down to 1 nothing happened and I waited ages so tried again and the same happened. then I went back and forth thru a load of useless help options, I cant request a call back and now I'm trying this its waisted a ton of my time and I'm pretty upset about all this.

    I'd like a refund of the £12.99 and my standard converted to ultimate, please

    What happens to Xbox live gold when upgrading to game pass ultimate?

    When you upgrade from standard Gold/Game Pass to Game Pass Ultimate, you upgrade at a ratio of 1:1.

    The 3:1 conversion ratio is what happens when you already have Ultimate and are adding standard Gold/Game Pass to Ultimate.

    No since it was cancelled and upgraded to Ultimate. So you would have been given the remaining time from your standard Game Pass as Ultimate in addition to the Ultimate you purchased. So if you had bought 1 month of standard Game Pass, then bought 1 month of Ultimate, you would have 2 months of Ultimate.

    I had Game Pass Ultimate from November to February, then cancelled it. I never did the Live Gold to GPU conversion. Can I do that if I sign up for Game Pass again?

    Yes it will. If you are upgrading from a standard gold or game pass to Ultimate, it will upgrade at a ratio of 1:1. The FAQ does mention a different conversion ratio, but that is if you currently have Ultimate and are adding a standard gold or game pass.

    Do you have standard Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate? Gold is needed to play online. Gold is included with Game Pass Ultimate, but not standard Game Pass. So if you only have Game Pass, you either need to add Gold or upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate.

    Do you have Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate? You need Gold to play online. Game Pass Ultimate includes Gold, but standard Game Pass does not. So if you only have standard Game Pass you would either need to upgrade to Ultimate or also buy a Gold subscription.
