    I had gold but I couldn’t play multiplayer


    Early today I Bought a 3 month Xbox Live gold membership after putting it in I tryed playing a multiplayer game but it apeard that I didn’t have gold even though in my suscriptions it appeard that i had gold but it still didn’t let me play multiplayer I
    already tryed removimg my account, restarting my Xbox and quiting my Games but nothing worked can somebody Tell me what else can I do and if somebody is having the same problem

    Why am I still banned

    According to my communications ban that I got 2 weeks ago, it said that I would be unbanned last night at 8pm UK time so I thought ok after an hour past it still was saying I was banned I couldn’t send messages still and I couldn’t speak in parties either.
    But when I go onto my account through xbox support it says that my ban has been lifted, there is no highlighted suspension it just has the little orange hammer symbol still and it says all of your previous suspension are listed hear. When I was banned I couldn’t
    play games that required multiplayer access but now I can and i also couldn’t have my account in parties but now I can. Why am I still banned Microsoft???

    So... Will We Ever Actually Own The "Xbox One" Games With Gold Or Will We Always...

    I mean if you have got an xbox the chances that you are going to have a gold subscribtion are pretty high anyways. Most games even require a gold subscription.

    Although it would be nice to keep offline games even without the gold subscription I don't think it will happen any time soon.
    You’d be surprised. I know a few people that only buy gold for a month here and there if there is a multiplayer game they want to play. Otherwise, they couldn’t care less.

    Error code when I go into data missing packs and click the one I need

    So it’s on Xbox 1 s and what’s happening is I had everything installed I was playing the game I came back the next day and tried and it said missing data packs but I looked and had everything installed. So I uninstalled multiplayer pack 1 and I couldn’t reinstall it cause I was giving me a error code saying error please come back later.

    You have always had to pay to play multiplayer on Xbox. You may have had someone set the Xbox that you use as their home Xbox and they had Gold. Which allowed you to play multiplayer without paying. They may recently removed their account, or are no longer
    subscribed to gold.

    ps4 also charge to play online multiplayer though...

    I was having this same issue and I couldn’t figure it out but I purchased gold and found out there was a new dlc that I had to download. It was called
    compatibility data pack 1. I would recommend searching the store for that dlc and if you cant find it you might have to buy gold for a month
