What game is it? Some games have a Series X|S version. It could be that that is asking for you to buy it.

I bought an xbox 1 and an xbox officially licensed 8gb xbox game hub less than a year ago to get me through until the new xbox series x came out. I am still old school when it comes to buying my games so they are on disc. I have played the new avengers game
quite a way through on my old xbox and the masterchief collection on the new one but when I try to play the Avengers it gives me an error code saying it doesn't recognize the disc and I need to go buy it again. I don't pay 70 dollars a game or 600 dollars
a console for them not to work. How do we fix this issue?

Thats weird usb drives dont work as storage you need 128ggs and it only compatible wjth xbox one NOT 360 accessories

Its Madden 13 and I have cleared my cache. I had this issue on madden 11/12 and a couple other games and I ended up getting a new xbox because i still had a warranty on my old one. But now I'm again having this issue on a 2 month old box and brand new game.

I have bought fifa16 for 360 less than 2 months ago, but last week I bought the xbox one. I need to buy it again? I mean, the microsoft will charge me for the same game, just because I have decided to buy its new console version?
