    You would need to contact support and speak to billing. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Xbox One Support | Xbox 360 Support | Xbox Live and Billing Support Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card from a retailer. It is not possible to purchase
    gold using your Microsoft account balance.

    What exactly is the issue you are having? You say your account keeps crashing but that doesn't doesn't give very much detail on exactly what is going on. Are there any error messages or error codes for you or anything?

    You have to check emails, check to see if they sent it , make sure that they are the same region as the game wont work unless it the same region

    have you checked if you got a message from Xbox Live? it should say they send it. if they have and it's in your email please contact the support they can check it for you as we can only just come up with ways to help ^^

    Also make sure this person who bought it is paying for it with the same currency and is in the same region as you.. otherwise it won't work

    Hi, I had a problem.

    Yes, it should come as a message in your email associated with your Xbox account. And also you should get a message on your console from Xbox Live with the code and it should let you Redeem it there. If there is nothing, then it sounds like the gifting
    may not have went through. I would check with your friend again and make sure that he got some kind of confirmation that the gift was purchased and sent to the correct Gamertag.

    Hi, I had a problem.

    If the gift was sent via Xbox Live then you would have received as an Xbox Live message in the message center. I would recommend going there and checking.

    If you do not receive the gift then he will need to contact Xbox Support to request a refund on the item.
