I had a friend invite me to preview over 3 weeks ago help please

I had an invite from a friend over 3 weeks ago, I have since talked to ambassadors for some advice then xbox support teams twice now and they have been very kind and helpful. Well this friend of mine invited me over 3 weeks ago now as i said, and nothing
yet, this same friend invited another friend of mine must of been less then 5 days ago and he got the invite yesterday. Is there some sort of system to this or am i just unlucky?

Any help on some sort of time scale would be great. Thanks.

Preview Program invitation problem

Could someone please send me a preview invite? I would be extremely grateful. Supposedly was invited over 3 weeks ago, but nothing yet.

Hi Sir Joshy,

being invited to the preview program does not guarantee selection - bear in mind that they do invites in batches/waves due to volume of people trying to join.

How will you know if you are selected?

You'll get a service message from the team on your Xbox One. The message will include a link to download the Xbox Preview Dashboard app. You'll need to use the app to register your console for Preview updates.

We have no details on how they do selection or what criteria they use - it is entirely possible that you have just been unlucky!
