Please be aware, this is a community forum, no one here has access to your account or can process a refund for you. If you have requested a refund, it will typically take 3-5 business days, with the day you requested the refund being day 0.

If you requested your refund on the 21st and you haven't had it yet, the most likely date in the UK would be Tuesday 29th August. Monday 28th is a none-business day, as it's a Bank Holiday.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Hi there, I have also had an issue with Microsoft taking an annual payment. There appears to be no direct quick way of cancelling an XBox subscription and stopping the payment. I've been going round the houses, clicking on links on my Microsoft account,
which takes you in circles - so frustrating. In the end, I have been able to cancel next year's subscription (due in July 2021) on PayPal, where the money was taken from - it was on PayPal as a Pre-Paid or Pre-Approved Subscription (yet I don't ever remember
agreeing to it being this, must've been in the small print).

So, although I've cancelled the 'pre-approved' payment on PayPal, I'm still struggling to cancel the actual subscription on my Microsoft account - why on EARTH is this so hard to do!!?????I literally have 8 browsers open at the top of my screen for Microsoft,
its just taking me full circle each time I click on a link!! It's only £49.99, but it's been taken from my PayPal account, which I was using to save money on from selling bits and bobs on eBay.

Hi, If anyone is still having this issue, i found a solution to mine. I couldnt Join partys, Join games, Message anyone on my xbox one. Had no idea why this was happening. had error code 0x8000FFFF.

What i did was sign onto Microsoft.com on the account associated with your xbox microsoft account.

Once i signed in it said about security information had been changed recently, i did this but didn't realise it takes 21 days for security information to change, so it actual locks your account until the 21 days are up, so all i did was click 'Cancel Security
info change' and then i (You) just pass the security information. in my case i tried changing phone number and cancelled and had to put my old SIM card into my phone to get the code. but as soon as i did this i went back on xbox and it worked, i could then
join partys.
