I got refunded for a game that I paid for in Xbox Rewards deposit and the refund was not paid

I got refunded for a game that I paid for in Xbox Rewards deposit and the refund was not paid to my Microsoft account... now it is missing they suggested contacting you guys:

So I am out this deposit now... As the refund is missing in action.

Pre order cancelled?

I pre ordered far cry 5 and when it came to the release date and me going to play it a message came up saying that pre order was cancelled for no reason and it will be refunded but it has been more than a week and I haven't got my refund I paid 70 pound
for it and I'm a bit mad that I haven't got refunded for it and the fact my pre order was cancelled for no reason I got charged for it as soon as I paid for it as i checked my account the next day and the money was gone.

I received lower compensation than sellin price for on-demand game of Ridge racer 6 from Korean X-Box service center.

Only support for your region can help you.They refunded you exactly what you paid,you wont get any more than that refunded.

If you take something back to a shop for a refund you will only get the same amount you paid,it's the same on xbox live.

You're lucky because as a rule there are no refunds on things bought from the marketplace.

Once credits are deposited into your account, the Rewards program no longer has access to them. You would need to continue to work with billing for any issues.

Also, refunds usually show up as a negative balance. So if it says you received a deposit of "Xbox Live Rewards Deposit: $-53.80" that means they credited your account and added those funds (it's counter intuitive as you feel the funds are ADDED "+").

However, as Smwutches said once the credits are deposited it is an issue with Xbox Billing and you need to continue to pressure them.

Once Credits are deposited, we no longer have any control over them. You would have to reach out to billing for support for this issue. However, we see that the deposit was completed successfully. Since Rewards Credits are promotional Credit, they are used
first from your Microsoft Account, and we see that you then used this deposit as payment for 3 games, most recently as partial payment for your Battlefield 1/Titanfall 2 purchase.

Furthermore, as Murphs says, our deposits are listed as a refund with a negative amount, since we are adding and not taking away funds from your account.

so i did receive the game but only after the second purchase, but i was told by a friend who went through a similar experience that i must request a refund to get back that R500 that was charged originally when i didn't receive the game, when i submitted the refund i stated a duplicate purchase occurred, and when i was redunded i was only refunded for the one purchase instead of 2

That's my point: You will only get one refund as the error only occured once:

- Purchase 1: Paid for the game, didn't receive it so entitled to a refund

- Purchase 2: Paid for the game, received the game. not entitled to a refund

You requested a refund for the first error and got your refund. The second purchase went through correctly, you paid for the game and you received the game so no refund necessary. The game cost R500, you received the game and got charged R1000 (2 attempts), you received R500 back so you have paid R500 which was the price of the game

Only reason for getting 2 refunds back is if you wanted to return the game without playing it
