    I got randomly matchmade with a Modder on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. He deranked me.


    I got randomly matchmade with a Modder on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. He deranked me. Anything I can do to get my progress back (over 16 days played)? Am I right by assuming reporting him only might get him banned from Xbox Live (which is good, so he
    can't fool others), but not get me my progress back?

    Also posted at the ACTIVISION forums, with one user already confirming he became a victim of him aswell.

    I hope someone can help me, although it's a 5 year old game. There are still well over 10.000 players online at times.

    Stats reset and deranked by hacker

    I was playing free for all in call of duty: modern warfare 3 and some hacker deranked me and reset all my stats. Everything I unlocked is gone. Please get me my stuff back.

    Sorry to hear about that, I can definitely understand the frustration. Unfortunately we are unable to assist with in-game ranking systems such as Call of Duty's. That is a matter that you will want to check in with the developer/publisher for directly. As
    long as you have reported them through the Xbox console, you've done everything you need to do to make sure that reaches the proper team.

    Sincere apologies for the frustration this may cause, and I hope a solution can be found!

    This is the 3rd time in the better part of 1/2 a year that I have been the victim of a deranking on MW3.

    The most recent of which was executed by a user w/ the GT of "oZolfe" around 3am May 7, 2017 w/ a modded gamer tag as well stating "DER(green 'A' controller button)NK RUNNING.." with the GT of "oZolfe" coming up. Google search yield a little data on that
    user, but once again, little to no recourse. This has been an endless cycle of toxic behavior and little to no oversight from the hosting company to police their own product.

    ie) consumer confidence is one thing, negligence and criminality is quite another.

    Trust me, Call of Duty 4 is nowadays alot of mods, modded lobbies, deranking lobbies, rank hack lobbies...

    I recomment playing Modern Warfare 3 since it has great community and almost impossible to mod, since I seen you want a fair game.
